Our Intensive Preparation Course for FSP and KP is a combined program developed to support international doctors in Germany prepare for both the Fachsprachprüfung (FSP) and the Kenntnisprüfung (KP) exams. This course brings together the expertise of Lingoda — a leading online language learning platform — and AMBOSS, a trusted medical education resource. The program offers expert guidance, tailored study materials, and a structured curriculum that addresses both advanced medical German language skills and in-depth medical knowledge according to German standards.
This course is intended for international doctors who earned their medical degree outside Germany and are required to pass the Fachsprachprüfung & Kenntnissprüfung exams in order to obtain their approbation in Germany. Our flexible schedule ensures that all participants can effectively prepare while managing their personal and professional commitments.
Absolutely! We offer a part-time course with a schedule that accommodates working professionals. If you are employed in the medical field in Germany, we can also assist you in securing funding for the course.
A Bildungsgutschein is a government funded training voucher that can cover the cost of the Fachsprachprüfung & Kenntnisprüfung preparation course. We assist our students in applying for this voucher, ensuring they can access financial support for their studies, whether you are unemployed or currently working in the medical field.
In order for the course to be government funded, you should fulfil the following requirements: residency in Germany, proof of a medical degree, deficit notice, a valid residence permit. If you are unsure whether you are eligible for government funding for the course, please contact us. We will be happy to advise you and support you in applying for the education voucher.
We offer both full-time and part-time options, allowing you to choose the study pace that best suits your needs. The full-time course has a duration of 34 weeks and the part-time course is 61 weeks. Between the FSP and KP preparation phases, there is a four-week break, providing candidates with enough time to take and pass the FSP exam before starting KP preparation.
Our courses are fully online, providing maximum flexibility while maintaining an interactive learning experience. Participants engage in regular discussions, case studies, and practice exercises to enhance their skills.
A B2 level of German is required to enroll in the course. If you are not at a B2 level of German, you cannot yet begin with the medical language preparation course, but you can take our language courses for doctors.
