We assist employed doctors through preparation courses for the Fachsprach- and Kenntnisprüfung that can be state-funded
Enable your medical career in Germany while balancing work and education. All our part-time preparation courses are held online in the evenings.
Match Doctors by Lingoda is here to support you.
Even if you are already working in the medical field, you must pass the Medical Language Exam (FSP) and the Medical Knowledge Exam (KP), if needed, to obtain a full medical license (Approbation). Whether you earned your degree in the EU or abroad, we help you access government-funded preparation courses for FSP and KP. Since the funding process differs for already employed doctors, we guide both you and your employer through the entire application process, answer your questions, and ensure access to the right course. Our part-time courses are specifically designed for working doctors, offering flexible preparation alongside your clinical duties. With successful completion of the course and exams, you will obtain a full Approbation and can work in Germany with a medical licence.
Our courses can be fully funded through a Bildungsgutschein - a state-funding provided by the Agentur für Arbeit.
Germany is currently facing a shortage of doctors. To address this, the federal government supports foreign-trained medical doctors seeking Approbation by offering a Bildungsgutschein. Even if you are already employed, you may still be eligible for this funding. The application process is managed through your employer, and Match Doctors by Lingoda will guide you every step of the way, working directly with your employer to secure the funding and ensure a smooth process.

Yes, our part-time courses are especially designed for doctors who are currently employed. Both of our preparation courses take place in the evening, so you can take part in your course after work. Our part-time course for the Fachsprachprüfung is Monday-Friday from 19:00-21:00 and for the Kenntnisprüfung, Monday-Wednesday from 18:00-20:00.
Our Kenntnisprüfung (KP) preparation course is designed to help international trained doctors in Germany pass the KP exam. Developed by Lingoda and Amboss, the course provides expert guidance and tailored study materials.
Our Fachsprachprüfung (FSP) preparation course is designed to help international doctors in Germany pass the FSP exam. The program was developed in cooperation with experienced linguists, German teachers, and medical specialists. The course is provided by Lingoda, a leading online language learning platform.
This course is intended for international doctors who earned their medical degree outside Germany and are required to pass the Fachsprachprüfung & Kenntnissprüfung exams in order to obtain their approbation in Germany. Our flexible schedule ensures that all participants can effectively prepare while managing their personal and professional commitments.
Yes! We specialize in exactly this. If you hold a vorläufige Berufserlaubnis and are working as a physician assistant, assistant doctor, or in any other clinical role, we can support you in accessing government funding. We work directly with your employer to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
We recommend applying for funding first, but if you choose to pay independently, simply fill out our contact form, and we'll reach out to discuss pricing and options.
A Bildungsgutschein is a government funded voucher that can cover the cost of the Kenntnisprüfung preparation course. We assist our students in applying for this voucher, ensuring they can access financial support for their studies, whether you are unemployed or currently working in the medical field.
In order for the course to be government funded, you should fulfill the following requirements: residency in Germany, proof of a medical degree, deficit notice, a valid residence permit. If you are unsure whether you are eligible for government funding for the course, please contact us. We will be happy to advise you and support you in applying for the education voucher.
We offer both full-time and part-time options, allowing you to choose the study pace that best suits your needs. Especially the part-time courses are a good option if you are employed. The part-time course for the Fachsprachprüfung takes 20 weeks and for the Kenntnisprüfung 16 weeks.
Our courses are fully online, providing maximum flexibility while maintaining an interactive learning experience. Participants engage in regular discussions, case studies, and practice exercises to enhance their skills.
A B2 level of German is required to enroll in the course. If you are not at a B2 level of German, you cannot yet begin with the medical language preparation course, but you can take our language courses for doctors.
No, our preparation courses are currently only suitable for medical doctors (human medicine).
